Test Description
CD31 stains endothelia, tumors of endothelial origin, such as hemangiomas, platelets, macrophages and Kupffer cells, granulocytes, lymphocytes (T cells, B cells, and NK cells), megakaryocytes, osteoclasts, and a variety of other tumors. CD31 IHC may be used for microvessel density counting in regions of cancer.
