Test Description
c-MYC is a member of the MYC family of proto-oncogenes. In cancer, c-myc is often constitutively expressed. This leads to the increased expression of many genes, some of which are involved in cell proliferation, contributing to the formation of cancer. It is estimated that c-MYC regulates expression of approximately 15% of genes.
