B cell maturation protein (BCMA) is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily. BCMA is selectively induced during plasma cell differentiation and promotes the survival of normal plasma cells and plasmablasts. BCMA is a target for multiple exploratory therapeutics for mutiple myeloma.
